When do these competitions actually close?
Closing times are set by whoever runs the giveaway, not by us. Most UK competitions close at midnight on the stated date, but some may shut earlier or the moment they hit a set number of entries. The whale shows the closing date published, so on the last day, enter in the morning. Leaving it until 11:59pm is how people lose entries to deadlines that weren't quite what they assumed.
